Veteran music icon Innocent “2Baba” Idibia and Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru have joyfully welcomed their first child together — a baby boy.

Speculation began on Friday after Osawaru was spotted at a hospital, prompting rumours that she was in labour. She later confirmed the news via her official Facebook page, announcing that she and 2Baba had been “blessed with a baby boy.” The update immediately sparked a wave of warm congratulations across social media platforms.

The newborn’s arrival marks a major milestone in the couple’s highly followed relationship. Earlier this year, 2Baba and Osawaru formalized their union after the singer’s separation from Annie Idibia in January. Since their headline-making Valentine’s Eve proposal, the couple has remained in the public eye — from family introductions to their intimate traditional wedding in Abuja last July.
