Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, to represent President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the presidential inauguration of President Alassane Ouattara.

The inauguration ceremony is scheduled to hold on Monday, December 8, 2025, at the Palais de la Présidence and will formally usher in President Ouattara’s fourth term in office following his re-election on October 25, 2025.

The event is expected to attract several Heads of State, senior government officials, and high-level dignitaries from across Africa and other parts of the world.
