Kidnapped Four-Year-Old Rescued as Police Nab Two Suspects in Bauchi

The Bauchi State Police Command has arrested two suspects in connection with the alleged kidnapping of a four-year-old boy, who has since been rescued unharmed.

According to police authorities, the incident was reported when the child’s father raised an alarm over his son’s sudden disappearance. Preliminary investigations revealed that one of the suspects allegedly lured the boy away from his home before handing him over to another accomplice.

The suspects reportedly attempted to disguise the abduction by falsely claiming the child was a relative while also demanding a ransom of ₦5 million from the family.

Following intelligence-led operations, police detectives tracked down and arrested the suspects. The victim was safely rescued during the operation and has been reunited with his family.

The Bauchi State Police Command confirmed that the suspects are currently in custody and that the case has been transferred to the Anti-Kidnapping Unit for further investigation and possible prosecution. Visit www.jocomms.com for more news.
