Are You Using Unsafe Cooking Oils? NAFDAC Issues Warning

Share

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has alerted Nigerians about the circulation of unregistered and potentially unsafe cooking oils, including brands like OKI, FINO, PUR, SUPER DELICIEX, and LA JONIC.

These oils lack manufacturer details and NAFDAC registration numbers, making their safety and quality unverified. They are reportedly sold in major markets nationwide, including Onitsha, Aba, Owerri, Lagos, Port Harcourt, and Calabar.

NAFDAC cautioned that consuming such oils poses serious health risks and urged consumers to avoid unregistered products and report suspicious items via 0800-162-3322 or sf.alert@nafdac.gov.ng. visit www.jocomms.com for more news.
