The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, has said he is learning politics from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing the President as one of the most experienced and strategic politicians in Nigeria.
Yilwatda made the statement while speaking at a public event, where he acknowledged President Tinubu’s long-standing influence in Nigerian politics and governance. He noted that Tinubu’s political journey, organisational skills and leadership style offer valuable lessons for both party leaders and emerging politicians.
According to the APC chairman, President Tinubu’s ability to build alliances, manage party structures and sustain political relevance over decades sets him apart as a model worth studying. He added that these qualities are crucial for strengthening the APC and consolidating democratic governance.
The remark comes as the ruling party continues efforts to reinforce internal unity and organisational capacity, with party leaders reaffirming loyalty to President Tinubu’s leadership and the Renewed Hope Agenda.
