Brooklyn Beckham has publicly accused his mother, Victoria Beckham, of canceling his wife Nicola Peltz’s wedding dress at the last minute, reigniting long-running speculation about tensions within the famous family.
In a series of emotional Instagram Stories posted on Monday, January 19, Brooklyn broke his silence on his strained relationship with his parents, alleging that Victoria withdrew from making Nicola’s wedding gown just before their 2022 wedding. He described the move as happening “at the eleventh hour,” leaving his fiancée distressed ahead of the ceremony.
“My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped,” Brooklyn wrote, suggesting that the incident was part of a broader pattern of interference in his marriage.
Reports had previously emerged in May 2025 indicating that there were ongoing tensions between Brooklyn and Nicola and the Beckham family. Those reports linked the rift to claims that Victoria had declined to design Nicola’s wedding dress, a decision that allegedly caused deep hurt and contributed to the growing divide.
Until now, Brooklyn had remained silent on the matter. However, in his latest post, he directly blamed his mother for canceling the dress plans shortly before the wedding, a move he said intensified the emotional strain surrounding the event.
Brooklyn and Nicola, who married in a lavish ceremony in 2022, have since appeared to distance themselves from the Beckham family, fuelling speculation of an ongoing feud. Neither Victoria nor David Beckham has publicly responded to Brooklyn’s latest claims.
