The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammadu Sa’adu Abubakar III, on Sunday visited President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the State House, Abuja.

The revered traditional ruler paid a courtesy visit to the President at the Presidential Villa.

The Sultan, who is the spiritual leader of Muslims in Nigeria, met with the President as part of ongoing engagements between the Presidency and traditional leaders on issues concerning national unity, peace, and development.

Details of the meeting were not immediately disclosed, but such visits are often used to discuss matters of national importance and strengthen cooperation between the government and traditional institutions.
