The Federal Government has announced over ₦1 billion in grants and support for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) under the 2026 National MSME Awards, reinforcing its commitment to strengthening Nigeria’s small business sector.

The initiative, driven under the administration of President Tinubu, aims to empower entrepreneurs across key sectors of the economy by providing financial support, recognition, and opportunities for growth. Beneficiaries are expected to include outstanding businesses demonstrating innovation, resilience, and impact in their communities.

The National MSME Awards remain a flagship platform for promoting enterprise development in Nigeria, with the 2026 edition set to further expand access to funding and encourage more small businesses to scale operations and contribute to national economic growth.
