Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived for the wedding Fatiha of three children and a cousin of Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum.

He was accompanied by the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), members of the National Assembly, ministers, former governors, and their deputies.

The Vice President is expected to serve as the Waliyi for Aisha Babagana Zulum, the governor’s daughter, who is being given in marriage to the son of the Deputy Governor of Yobe State, Mohammed Idi Barde.

Other celebrants include Umar Babagana Zulum, who is marrying Fatima Azzaki Jidda; Mamman Babagana Zulum, who is marrying Yagana Mustapha Busuguma; and Abba Abubakar Umara, who is marrying Aisha Ibrahim Musa.

Dignitaries at the event include former Vice President Babagana Kingibe, Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas, and Deputy Senate President Jibril Barau.

Also in attendance are governors from Kaduna, Zamfara, Kebbi, Nasarawa, Sokoto, Kano, Katsina, and Gombe states, as well as former Borno State Governor, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, alongside other former governors and ministers.
