Makinde Urges Unity Among PDP Stakeholders Ahead of 2027 Elections

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has called on stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to remain united and committed to strengthening the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Makinde made the call during a meeting with party leaders and members, stressing the need for cohesion, discipline, and collective responsibility within the PDP to ensure electoral success in future polls.

The governor noted that unity among party stakeholders remains crucial to rebuilding confidence among members and positioning the PDP as a strong opposition platform capable of providing credible leadership for Nigerians.

He also urged party faithful to place the interest of the party above personal ambitions, while encouraging continuous engagement and reconciliation among aggrieved members.

Makinde reaffirmed his commitment to the growth and stability of the PDP, expressing confidence that the party would emerge stronger through cooperation and strategic planning ahead of the 2027 elections.
