The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released the names of House of Representatives aspirants who participated in its screening exercise but were not cleared to contest in the party’s forthcoming primary election.

In a press statement issued in Abuja on May 16, 2026, the party said the screening was conducted by its designated Screening Committees in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.

The statement, signed by Felix Morka, APC National Publicity Secretary, noted that the affected aspirants underwent the screening process but failed to secure clearance to proceed to the next stage of the party’s nomination exercise.

The APC stated that the exercise forms part of efforts to ensure due process and compliance with the party’s internal regulations ahead of the House of Representatives primary election.
