President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday received the official results of the Lagos State All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial primary from the party’s governorship candidate and his wife, Oluremi, during a visit to the Presidential Villa.

The APC candidate expressed appreciation to the President and party leadership for the confidence reposed in him following his emergence as the party’s flag bearer for the 2027 Lagos governorship election.

He described the nomination as a great honour and a significant responsibility, pledging to work towards sustaining Lagos State’s growth and development.

According to him, the campaign vision is focused on building a state where families can thrive, businesses can expand, and young people can access meaningful opportunities.

The candidate also commended party supporters and residents for their trust and support, noting that the journey ahead would be centred on translating shared hopes into tangible progress for the people of Lagos State.
