South African international midfielder Jayden Adams has died at the age of 25, just weeks after representing Bafana Bafana at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The South African government confirmed his death on Saturday, while his club, Mamelodi Sundowns, and the South African Football Players’ Union paid tribute to the talented footballer.
