APC inaugurates national campaign council for Ekiti governorship election

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, on Wednesday inaugurated the party’s National Campaign Council for the forthcoming Ekiti State Governorship Election.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by members of the National Working Committee (NWC), who joined the party chairman in formally constituting the council to coordinate campaign activities ahead of the election.

Speaking at the event, Prof. Yilwatda commended members of the council for accepting the responsibility, describing their appointment as vital to the party’s electoral success in Ekiti State.

He expressed confidence in the council’s ability to strengthen the APC’s campaign structure, citing the members’ experience, commitment, and dedication as key assets that would help secure victory for the party at the polls.

According to the APC chairman, the composition of the National Campaign Council reflects the party’s commitment to inclusivity, unity, and collective success as it intensifies preparations for the governorship election.

The APC leadership reaffirmed its determination to run a robust campaign and retain its political strength in Ekiti State ahead of the forthcoming election.
