The General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, William Folorunso Kumuyi, is expected to lead more than 200,000 worshippers at the upcoming Global Crusade with Kumuyi in Abuja, as organisers call for divine intervention to address Nigeria’s worsening security challenges.
The six-day crusade, themed “Christ’s Wonder-Working Power with Pastor (Dr.) Kumuyi,” is scheduled to hold from June 24 to June 29, 2026. Activities will begin at the church’s headquarters in Kado before moving to the Moshood Abiola National Stadium for the main sessions.
Speaking during a media briefing in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory State Overseer of the church, Pastor Edison Daminabo, said the event is expected to attract participants from across Nigeria and abroad, both physically and through online broadcasts.
Daminabo said the crusade aims to provide spiritual renewal amid rising insecurity, economic hardship and social unrest, urging Nigerians to seek collective solutions through faith and unity.
Organisers added that the programme will feature revival meetings, ministers’ conferences, youth sessions, and special programmes for students and new converts, including the “Impact Academy” youth segment scheduled for June 27.
The church also assured the public that security agencies are working with organisers to ensure a safe and orderly event.
Since its launch in 2021, the Global Crusade with Kumuyi has expanded into an international evangelistic programme held across multiple continents. Visit www.jocomms.com for more news.
