Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for reaffirming his confidence in Vice President Kashim Shettima through his re-nomination as the All Progressives Congress (APC) vice-presidential candidate.

Abbas described the decision as a demonstration of trust, continuity and confidence in the Tinubu-Shettima partnership, noting that it reflects the party’s commitment to stable and consistent leadership.

According to the Speaker, Shettima’s re-nomination has significantly strengthened the APC’s prospects ahead of the January presidential election.

He expressed confidence that the Tinubu-Shettima ticket would continue to enjoy broad support across the country as the party intensifies preparations for the election.

Abbas also praised President Tinubu’s leadership, saying the decision reinforces unity within the party and positions the APC strongly for the forthcoming presidential poll.
