The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Tuesday officially flagged off its governorship campaign in Ado-Ekiti, drawing a large turnout of party leaders, supporters, and residents in what party officials described as a strong show of support for Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s administration.

The event was attended by the Governor of Kaduna State and National Chairman of the Ekiti State Governorship Campaign Council, Senator Uba Sani, alongside top APC stakeholders and members of the party from across the state.

Speaking at the rally, party leaders described the massive turnout as evidence of growing public confidence in the leadership of Governor Oyebanji and the APC-led administration in Ekiti State.

Earlier in the day, a free medical outreach organised by members of the Ekiti State National Assembly caucus in honour of Governor Oyebanji was launched. The initiative was praised for providing healthcare support to residents and promoting people-centred governance.

The campaign activities also included a visit by Governor Oyebanji, Senator Uba Sani, and other party leaders to the palace of the Ewi of Ado Ekiti, Oba Rufus Aladesanmi III, where they received royal blessings ahead of the election campaign.

At the campaign rally, APC leaders urged supporters and residents to mobilise massively for the party, expressing confidence that the APC would secure a decisive victory in the governorship election.
