President Bola Ahmed Tinubu secured a sweeping victory in the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary election in Gombe State, polling 450,517 votes against fellow aspirant Stanley Osifo, who recorded no vote.

Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, who served as the APC presidential primary collation officer in the state, announced the result after votes were collated from the 11 local government areas of Gombe State.

The governor described the exercise as peaceful and transparent, noting that the outcome reflected the overwhelming support enjoyed by President Tinubu among APC members in the state ahead of the 2027 general elections.
