The Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, says the Federal Government will continue to strengthen collaboration with key humanitarian actors to improve responses to crises across the country.

He stated this on Tuesday when he received a delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Nigeria, led by Ms. Dorsa Doueihy, on a courtesy visit to the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Shettima explained that the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains committed to addressing humanitarian concerns through sustained engagement with development partners and other critical stakeholders.

He noted that closer cooperation with organisations such as the ICRC is necessary to bridge gaps in humanitarian coordination and ensure more effective support for affected populations.

The Vice President assured that the Federal Government would continue to build on existing partnerships aimed at improving humanitarian delivery and strengthening response mechanisms nationwide.
