President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved a series of enhanced welfare and financial support measures aimed at improving the working conditions of public servants across the country.

The approved initiatives include an Exit Benefit Scheme and an Employee Compensation Scheme designed to strengthen social protection and support for civil servants upon retirement or in the event of workplace-related incidents.

The President also approved a 100% Duty Tour Allowance for training programmes, alongside a review and upward adjustment of the Peculiar Allowance to better reflect current realities and training-related needs.

In addition, President Tinubu has sanctioned a ₦10 billion Housing Loan Scheme for public servants, intended to expand access to affordable housing and improve home ownership opportunities within the civil service.

The reforms are part of ongoing efforts to enhance staff welfare and boost productivity in the public sector.
