President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Kigali, Rwanda, to participate in the 13th Africa CEO Forum, one of the continent’s leading gatherings of business and political leaders.
The Nigerian leader was received at Kigali International Airport by top government officials from both Nigeria and Rwanda, including Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu, and Rwanda’s Minister of Defence, Juvenal Marizamunda.
Other officials present at the airport included the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr Jumoke Oduwole; Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ambassador Mohammed Mohammed; Nigerian Chargé d’Affaires in Rwanda, Ambassador Ibrahim Zanna; and the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Public Communication, Chief Sunday Dare.
The Africa CEO Forum, founded in 2012 by Jeune Afrique Media in partnership with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), brings together investors, policymakers, and business executives from across Africa to discuss strategies for economic growth and regional integration.
This year’s forum is themed, “The Scale Imperative: Why Africa Must Embrace Shared Ownership.”
President Tinubu is expected to deliver an address titled, “Holding the Line: Nigeria’s Reform Bet in a Fractured World,” focusing on the impact and sustainability of the Federal Government’s economic reforms.
Aside from participating in the forum, the President is also scheduled to meet with African and international business leaders to strengthen economic ties and promote investment opportunities in Nigeria.
The visit is part of Nigeria’s broader push to deepen regional cooperation, encourage private sector-led development, and strengthen Africa’s economic integration.
