Wike Pledges More Housing for FCT Judges Before End of Tinubu’s First Term

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has pledged to construct more official residences for judges of the Federal Capital Territory, saying the initiative will continue before the expiration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s first term in office.

Wike made the pledge during the commissioning of 20 housing units built for judges of the FCT High Court, describing the project as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the judiciary through improved welfare and infrastructure.

The minister said the FCT Administration remains committed to providing a conducive working environment for judicial officers, noting that adequate housing is essential to enhancing the efficiency and independence of the judiciary.

He expressed confidence that significant progress would be made in the construction of additional residences for judges before the end of President Tinubu’s first tenure.

Wike reiterated the FCT Administration’s commitment to expanding critical infrastructure and improving the welfare of public officials in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda.
