FIFA has distributed a record $871 million in prize money to the 48 nations that participated in the expanded 2026 FIFA World Cup, with champions Spain receiving the highest payout of $50 million for winning the tournament.

Runners-up Argentina earned $33 million, while England received $29 million for finishing third and France took home $27 million after placing fourth.

The four quarter-finalists each received $19 million, while teams eliminated in the Round of 16 earned $15 million apiece.

Nations that exited in the Round of 32 were awarded $11 million each, while teams eliminated in the group stage received $9 million.
