2027: APC rules out extension of sales of nomination forms

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has stated that there are no plans to extend the deadline for the sale of nomination and expression of interest forms ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The party clarified that the timetable already released for the exercise remains binding on all aspirants and stakeholders, stressing that it is working strictly within its approved electoral guidelines and internal schedule.

According to the party, the decision is aimed at ensuring proper planning, orderliness, and adequate preparation for all stages of its primary elections.

APC further urged interested aspirants to complete their registration processes within the stipulated period, noting that fairness and discipline in the process would be maintained.

The party reaffirmed its commitment to a transparent and structured nomination exercise as preparations intensify ahead of the 2027 polls.
