The Dangote Group has been unveiled as an official Premier Partner for the 2025 Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF), expected to generate over $44bn in trade and investment deals. The fourth edition of the biennial fair will take place in September in Algiers, Algeria, bringing together more than 2,000 exhibitors from across Africa and beyond. Organised by Afreximbank in partnership with the African Union Commission and the AfCFTA Secretariat, the event aims to boost intra-African trade and showcase the continent’s economic and investment potential.
Afreximbank’s Executive Vice President for Intra-African Trade and Export Development, Mrs Kanayo Awani, praised Dangote Group as a “beacon of African industrial excellence,” noting the bank’s support for the company’s landmark projects, including the Dangote Refinery and Fertiliser Plant. She said the partnership reflects a shared vision to make intra-African trade a cornerstone of the continent’s growth and integration.
Dangote Industries’ Group Chief Branding & Communications Officer, Mr Anthony Chiejina, said the company’s involvement builds on the success of IATF2023 and reaffirms its commitment to advancing Africa’s economic self-reliance. He added that the platform will unlock new opportunities and help position Africa as a global hub for production, innovation, and trade.
