Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has inaugurated a new set of government officials, including commissioners, local government council chairmen, vice chairmen, and board members of key state agencies.
The swearing-in ceremony, held at the Hauwa Wali Multi-Purpose Hall in Government House, Minna, saw the officials take their oath of office administered on behalf of the State Chief Judge.
Governor Bago said the appointees were selected based on their proven capacity and commitment to public service. He urged them to uphold excellence, embrace teamwork, and contribute meaningfully to the success of his administration’s “New Niger Agenda.”
The Secretary to the State Government, Abubakar Usman, also reminded the newly sworn-in officials of the responsibilities ahead, urging them to justify the confidence reposed in them.
