Vice President Kashim Shettima on Wednesday chaired the graduation ceremony of Senior Executive Course 47 (2025) at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) in Jos.

He was received by Governor Caleb Mutfwang and the Director-General of NIPSS, Professor Ayo Omotayo, alongside senior government officials and other dignitaries.

The Vice President’s attendance underscores President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, particularly the administration’s push for evidence-based policy implementation. It follows the President’s directive to relevant ministries, departments and agencies to review and implement the recommendations of NIPSS’s comprehensive study on Nigeria’s blue economy development.

NIPSS is recognised as a centre of excellence for policy research, strategic studies and leadership training, providing capacity building for senior public and private sector leaders, security personnel and civil servants across Nigeria, West Africa and the African continent.
