President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has inaugurated Taiwo Oyedele as the Minister of State for Finance at a ceremony held at the State House in Abuja. The swearing-in took place on Monday at the Presidential Villa following his confirmation by the Senate after being nominated earlier by the President.

Oyedele, a respected fiscal policy and tax reform expert, previously served as Chairman of the Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms, where he played a key role in efforts aimed at reforming Nigeria’s tax system and improving fiscal efficiency.

As Minister of State for Finance, he is expected to work closely with the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, to support the implementation of the administration’s fiscal and economic reform agenda.
