Former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode and public commentator Reno Omokri have jointly declared their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a joint statement, they described President Tinubu as their preferred candidate, stating that it is in the “best interest of Nigeria’s stability, unity, and prosperity” for power to remain in the South in line with what they referred to as an informal power rotation arrangement under the Fourth Republic.
They argued that the South should be allowed to complete what they described as a full and commensurate tenure following the eight years of the Muhammadu Buhari administration, stressing the need for political continuity to sustain national development.
The duo also called on Nigerians and political stakeholders across all regions to support the Tinubu administration and its Renewed Hope Agenda, noting ongoing infrastructure projects and economic reforms as key indicators of progress.
They concluded by reaffirming their backing for President Tinubu’s re-election in 2027, urging unity and collective support toward achieving long-term national growth and stability.
