The All Progressives Congress (APC) has commenced post-primary reconciliation efforts aimed at resolving grievances arising from recently concluded party primaries across the country.
Party leaders say the move is part of wider efforts to strengthen internal unity and reduce tensions among aspirants and stakeholders who participated in the primary elections.
The reconciliation process is being handled through internal conflict resolution mechanisms established by the party, including reconciliation committees and party-level dispute resolution structures. According to party officials, the initiative is designed to address complaints, heal divisions, and ensure cohesion ahead of upcoming elections.
The APC leadership noted that while the primaries were largely peaceful and widely participated in, it is normal for disagreements and dissatisfaction to emerge in competitive political exercises. The party therefore emphasized the need for dialogue and reconciliation to maintain stability within its ranks.
Officials added that the reconciliation exercise will continue across states and zones, with the aim of consolidating support and strengthening the party’s chances in future elections.
