Former Real Madrid defender Vinicius Tobias recently had his baby’s name tattooed on his arm, only to learn he is not her biological father.

The 20-year-old Brazilian right-back, currently with Shakhtar Donetsk, and his ex-wife Ingrid Lima welcomed their daughter, Maite, on October 8. To celebrate her birth, Tobias got the words “Maite, I love you” inked on his arm.

However, influencer Ingrid later revealed that their relationship was unstable around the time Maite was conceived, according to The Sun UK. She confirmed that a DNA test indicated Tobias is not the child’s biological father.

In a social media post, Ingrid explained, “I felt the need to clarify something that’s been bothering me. Vinicius and I haven’t been together for a while. During that time, we both had other relationships. Maite came along, and we decided to do a DNA test, which showed that Maite is not Vinicius’ daughter.”

As of now, Tobias has not publicly commented on the results of the DNA test
