Ondo State Governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has declared that candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 general elections will be selected based on merit, loyalty, and winnability, warning aspirants against engaging in do-or-die politics.

Speaking at a stakeholders’ meeting held in Akure, Governor Aiyedatiwa stressed the importance of unity, discipline, and strict adherence to party supremacy.

He urged party members and aspirants to work together in strengthening the APC, noting that internal cohesion remains key to electoral success.
