Nigeria’s Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, has congratulated Muslims in Nigeria and across the world on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, urging citizens to embrace the virtues of faith, sacrifice, compassion and national unity.

In his Eid message, the Minister called on Nigerians to use the period of the celebration to pray for peace, stability and progress in the country.

He also reaffirmed the commitment of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration to building a secure, prosperous and inclusive nation under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

Mohammed Idris urged citizens to continue supporting government efforts aimed at strengthening national cohesion and improving the welfare of Nigerians.
