A member of the Ogun State House of Assembly representing Ijebu North I State Constituency, Rasheed Kashamu, has expressed support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid, saying the President deserves a second term to consolidate the reforms initiated by his administration.

Kashamu stated that President Tinubu assumed office during a challenging period in Nigeria’s history but demonstrated courage by implementing bold economic reforms aimed at repositioning the country for sustainable growth.

According to the lawmaker, while some of the reforms initially brought hardships, emerging indicators suggest that the policies are beginning to yield positive results across key sectors of the economy.

He commended the administration’s economic measures, including efforts to strengthen fiscal discipline, expand revenue generation, attract investment, and improve macroeconomic stability.

Kashamu also praised the Federal Government’s infrastructure drive, citing ongoing road, transportation, and development projects as evidence of the administration’s commitment to economic growth and national development.

The lawmaker maintained that continuity in leadership would enable the government to build on the gains already recorded and fully realize the objectives of its reform agenda.
