First Lady Oluremi Tinubu Calls for Unity, Compassion in Eid el-Kabir Message

The First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has extended warm greetings to Muslims across the country and in the diaspora as they celebrate Eid el-Kabir 2026.

In her Eid message, the First Lady described the occasion as a period for reflection on the values of sacrifice, obedience, faith, and compassion, noting that it reinforces the importance of selflessness and devotion to God.

She urged Nigerians to embrace peaceful coexistence and foster harmony in their communities, stressing that the nation’s strength lies in unity, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to building a more inclusive society.

Senator Tinubu also encouraged citizens to extend kindness to the less privileged, adding that acts of generosity and support for vulnerable groups can restore hope and bring comfort to those in need.

She further called for continued prayers for Nigeria, seeking peace, stability, and prosperity for the country.

The First Lady concluded her message with Eid greetings to Muslims, wishing them “Eid Mubarak.”
