Senator Sharafadeen Alli has emerged as the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for the 2027 governorship election in Oyo State.

The party formally unveiled Alli as its flagbearer and also presented Adesoji Adedeji as his running mate ahead of the election.

At the unveiling ceremony in Ibadan, APC leaders called on members of the party to remain united and work collectively towards securing victory in the 2027 governorship poll.

Speaking after his emergence, Alli described his candidacy as a victory for the entire party and urged members to close ranks and focus on reclaiming power in the state.

The Oyo South senator pledged to provide purposeful leadership and deliver good governance if elected governor.

APC leaders expressed confidence that the Alli-Adedeji ticket would strengthen the party’s chances in the 2027 governorship race and position it for electoral success in Oyo State.
