

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nentawe Yilwatda, has declared that Ebonyi State remains firmly behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the ruling party, citing the massive turnout at a grand endorsement rally held in Abakaliki as evidence of the people’s unwavering support.
Speaking during the rally organised by the Ebonyi State Government and APC stakeholders, Yilwatda described the enthusiastic participation of residents, party members, and supporters as a clear demonstration of confidence in the leadership of President Tinubu and the APC. He said the large crowd reflected the strength of the party in the state and its growing acceptance across the South-East region.
According to the APC chairman, the support being enjoyed by the President is a result of his administration’s commitment to infrastructure development, economic reforms, and inclusive governance. He noted that ongoing federal projects across the South-East have helped address longstanding developmental concerns and strengthened the relationship between the region and the Federal Government.
Yilwatda also commended the people of Ebonyi State for their loyalty to the party, assuring them that the APC-led administration would continue to deliver projects and policies aimed at improving the lives of Nigerians. He pledged to convey the overwhelming show of support witnessed at the rally to President Tinubu.
Also speaking at the event, the Minister of Works, David Umahi, praised the President’s commitment to national development and highlighted key infrastructure projects being executed across the country. He said the South-East had benefited significantly from the Renewed Hope Agenda and expressed confidence in the region’s continued partnership with the Tinubu administration.
Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, who hosted the rally, reaffirmed Ebonyi State’s support for President Tinubu, describing him as a visionary leader whose administration has demonstrated a commitment to equitable development and national progress.
The rally culminated in the endorsement of President Tinubu for a second term in office, with party leaders, stakeholders, and supporters expressing confidence in his leadership and commitment to Nigeria’s development.
