Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has visited Mrs. Amina Rabe Abubakar, wife of the late Major General Rabe Abubakar, at the Federal Teaching Hospital in Katsina following her rescue from kidnappers by troops.

During the visit, Governor Radda commended the Nigerian Armed Forces, particularly troops of Operation FANSAN YANMA, for what he described as a swift, courageous, and professional rescue operation that led to her safe recovery.

He praised the security personnel for their dedication and sacrifice in the ongoing fight against banditry and kidnapping in Katsina State and other parts of the North West region.

Mrs. Abubakar was reportedly rescued during a military operation after being abducted alongside her husband, the late Major General Rabe Abubakar. Military authorities say she is currently receiving medical attention and responding to treatment.

The governor assured that the state government will continue to support security agencies to strengthen ongoing efforts aimed at restoring peace and protecting communities.
